The studio features an acoustically well-designed and equipped control room, linked to a main live room and two other isolated recording areas enabling a variety of working methods for live, largely live and fully-overdubbed recordings. The recording areas allow flexibility and variation of acoustics to suit. In addition, provision can be made to tie the adjacent large hall (with stage) directly to the control room to enable recordings of large bands, orchestras, choirs or live shows. Full stage monitoring or headphone returns are provided.
A fine selection of microphones (including offerings from Nuemann, AKG, Audix, Rode, Shure, Sennheiser and Crown) and outboard equipment (featuring TL Audio, dbx, Aphex and Lexicon amongst others) is available for use. Excellent studio speakers from PMC and Mackie enable accurate and tireless monitoring. In addition, professional engineers, experienced in working with world class artists and students alike, will help you realise your potential creatively and technically.
